Yesterday my Presso felt that the drag was jerky, the "felt"? washer looks dry compared to a Luvias of the same size (1003). What do I lube it with?

apparently not mate :( I have heard that sewing machine oil is better than anything that is mass produced for the job mentioned. I'm not sure if its for dry drags or wet drags. Max @ barclay marine can help you out with it.

presso baitcaster or spin? presso baitcaster has a single washer DRY drag. The spin should be a wet type and you need drag grease the tica 1 is good and they need to cleaned off and a light greasing given to each non steel washer.

Thanks for the answers guys, In desperation I lubed the washer with the blue greese from Diawa,s reel lube, it seems realy nice now. Sorry should have said that it was a spin reel, I didn,t know that there was a baitcaster version.
